The Summit was well attended, with over 400 people in attendance. The key outcome was the need for better collaboration between statutory agencies and the community to help address the issues that were covered by the event. Participants felt that the African com-munity is capable of working in tandem with agencies to solve key problems, rather than being invited as passive onlookers. People felt that the event in itself signified an example of a community willing and able to lead change and development across London and that the Summit needed to be a yearly affair hence-forth.
