This new position within AFRUCA will be critical as we move to strengthen our brand following a recent name change. The post-holder will help to establish our Communication Department and help to develop and implement our communication and fundraising marketing strategies and plans. This role will be central to strengthening our profile as we become more influential on the national stage and in the Black and Minority Ethnic communities in which we operate.

This position is based at our Head Office in London. It will require national travel to meet with stakeholders and colleagues in our office in Manchester.

We want to recruit a strong candidate with at least five years’ experience and background in communications, public relations or relevant field. You must have sound experience of building and managing a brand and promoting an organisation’s voice. You must be able to communicate effectively and engage with a range of audiences to amplify our work. You must have experience of using different media to create high quality targeted content.
