Vacancies for AFRUCA Members of the Board of Trustees
AFRUCA Trustees Recruitment 2026
Positions Vacant: Vacancies for AFRUCA Members of the Board of Trustees
AFRUCA is looking to appoint up to five new Trustees to join our Board.
We are keen to ensure our Board is very representative of those who use our services, is ethnically diverse and geographically representative of the communities we serve. We want to attract new Trustees who are UK legal residents/citizens, originally from other parts of Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and other ethnic minority groups. We are especially interested to attract people with the lived experience of our work on different forms of child abuse, modern slavery, child trafficking, exploitation and forced migration. We would like to bring on board those with legal and accounting expertise and encourage people from different faith backgrounds, sexuality and sexes to apply to join our board.
As a Trustee and Board Member of AFRUCA – Safeguarding Children, you will have an opportunity to work with a range of highly skilled individuals, experienced in their different fields and passionate about making a change in the lives of children and families. You will be able to contribute to the growing influence of our work across England. You will also broaden your experience of charity governance.
